Measurement should be a choice.

Portfolio analytics stay off until you allow them. This page explains what changes when you choose, what is not collected here, and how MARGIN remains separate.

At a glance

No consent, no Google Analytics script.

  • Google Analytics is optional and disabled by default for a first-time visitor.
  • This site has no account system, advertising, contact form, or session replay.
  • Your Allow or Decline choice is stored locally in this browser.
  • The MARGIN prototype intentionally ships without portfolio analytics.

01 / Optional measurement

What happens when you allow analytics

The portfolio loads Google Analytics 4 using measurement ID G-SWWLX2TLSP only after you choose Allow. Google is the analytics provider, and the service may set _ga cookies and receive measurement data.

At a high level, that data can include page paths and titles, content groups, referral information, basic browser and device details, approximate location derived by Google, and interactions such as navigation, outbound links, contact-link clicks, article filters, scroll depth, and media progress. Article-search terms of two or more characters may be measured when analytics is allowed.

Advertising storage, ad personalization, and Google Signals are disabled in this implementation. Analytics is used to understand which pages and interactions are useful—not to build advertising audiences.

02 / Your preference

What is stored in this browser

The site stores one preference in localStorage under jnf-analytics-consent. Its value is either granted or denied. That preference lets the site remember your choice on a later visit from the same browser.

You can reopen Analytics preferences from this page or the footer and choose Decline at any time. Declining disables the analytics script and attempts to remove Google Analytics cookies for this site. You can also clear this site’s stored data through your browser controls.

03 / Not collected here

No forms, ads, or replay

This portfolio does not include a contact form, user account, payment flow, advertising pixel, behavioral advertising system, or session-replay tool. Email and phone links open your own email or calling application; this site does not receive the message body or call contents.

External destinations—including LinkedIn, Omikina, Clarapetra, and cited sources—apply their own privacy practices after you follow a link away from this site.

04 / Hosting

Ordinary delivery and security logs

Like most hosted websites, the underlying hosting and network providers may create ordinary operational logs needed to deliver pages, maintain reliability, and protect the service. Those logs are separate from the optional Google Analytics layer and are not controlled by this consent panel.

No fixed Google Analytics retention period is asserted here. Retention is controlled in the Google Analytics account and may change. Google’s handling of analytics data is also governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

05 / MARGIN boundary

MARGIN is intentionally analytics-free

MARGIN is a separate, no-account support prototype. Its selections stay only in the current page memory and disappear when the page is refreshed or closed. The MARGIN routes do not load this portfolio’s Google Analytics or consent interface and do not use local storage, session storage, advertising identifiers, pixels, or session replay.

MARGIN is not clinical care, does not monitor a crisis, and does not replace treatment or emergency services.
