Full story
How the work took shape
A character you can play
Daddy We Bounce brings Daddy B, Clarapetra’s crowned pink bunny, into a neon concert world. Speaker stacks become stepping stones. A pink moon hangs over the stage. The character’s plush softness meets chrome, studs, and a very unforgiving floor.
The game extends the Pop Stars world through something a listener can do: hold to squash Daddy B, release to jump, and find a rhythm across the platforms.
One gesture, room to improve
The length of each hold determines the jump. A power meter and trajectory cues help players judge the distance, while squash, stretch, and turning poses make the action feel physical. Touch, mouse, and keyboard inputs share the same basic interaction.
As the run continues, platform rules change. Chrome bunny drops arrive every fifteen platforms, marking progress with a collectible moment and bonus points. Precision landings, a saved personal best, fifteen unlockable stickers, and an optional public leaderboard give players different reasons to return.
Music inside the interaction
The built-in soundtrack cycles through Daddy We Bounce, Pop Stars, and At War. Beat-timed jumps and landings earn bonuses, while the music drives visual responses across the stage. Players can pause the music or move to the next song; retrying a run keeps the soundtrack’s place.
The design connects original music, character performance, and immediate feedback in a short browser session. The live game remains a playable preview, with its current features visible directly in the experience.
